Steps to take before seeking a referral
Advice on a range of topics related to the cost of living – including help with financial issues such as benefits and debt, utility bills, details of community cafes and access to emergency food – can be found on the Fife Council Cost of Living Support web site at our.fife.scot/gethelp or by calling the Community Support Line on 0800 952 0330 (Monday-Friday 9am-5pm).
Check your entitlement to benefits by using Fife Council’s benefit checker tool at fife.entitledto.co.uk/home/start.
The Worrying About Money leaflet provides useful information on where to receive help with a range of financial issues.
